Bereavement Support

A Plus Hospice Care provides a support system designed to assist our patients’ family members on their path of healing after loss journey. As with any life journey, the process is personal and unique. No one has been in your exact shoes; however, you are not alone, and we are here to help you navigate these uncharted waters of grief. The loss of a loved one is unquestionably one of the most difficult experiences you will ever encounter and we at A Plus Hospice Care are here to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to heal after loss.

Our Bereavement Program offers opportunities to:

• Work independently with a professional Bereavement Counselor in person, or via telephone contact.
• Participate in bereavement support groups where you will meet others who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Groups provide an open forum for sharing your feelings and bereavement experiences.
• Engage in creative workshops that promote self-expression and healing.
• Discover new modalities to support self-care in our quarterly “Self-Care Intensives.”
• Receive extra support around the holiday season and/or around significant anniversaries.

We at A Plus Hospice Care may not know all the answers to the questions you may have, but we are here to offer compassionate caring support through this difficult time. Please let us know how we can best support you and those you care about most.
